Athénaïs Gautier MASCOT-NUM Prize
Athénaïs Gautier has been awarded a best PhD student oral presentation prize at MASCOT-NUM 2022.
The annual meeting of the MASCOT-NUM research network was held in Clermont Ferrand on June 7, 8 and 9, 2022. MASCOT-NUM 2022 focused on the interactions between uncertainty quantification and machine learning.
The first day was mainly dedicated to presentations by doctoral students (oral presentations and posters). The awardees of the best PhD student oral presentation were Athénaïs Gautier (University of Bern) and Sébastien Petit (CentraleSupélec).
Athénaïs presented her work on "Leveraging spatial regularity in distribution field estimation to accelerate statistical inference for the sciences". If you want to know more about it, the abstract and slides are available on the program website.
